BLS & AED At The Stadium VR Training
Life-Saving on the Pitch – BLS & AED at the Stadium VR
BLS & AED at the Stadium VR Training immerses participants in a high-pressure football scenario where quick action is critical. As you prepare for a penalty shot, the goalkeeper collapses with sudden cardiac arrest. Your mission: perform CPR and use an AED according to European standards to save their life.
Beyond resuscitation, the training also teaches:
Building visual protection to secure the scene and ensure privacy.
Working as a team with fellow players to coordinate the rescue.
Practicing CPR and AED skills in VR while integrating any physical training mannequin for realistic feedback.
This unique module combines immersive sports context with critical first aid training, strengthening both medical skills and teamwork under stress.

Training Program
1. Training ObjectiveThe purpose of this training is to teach participants how to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in a sports stadium setting, following the 2021 American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. The VR simulation allows for hands-on practice of Basic Life Support (BLS) procedures and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency. An additional goal is to involve bystanders, including other players, in the rescue process and to secure the scene by creating a protective barrier between the emergency response and the audience. The training takes place in a VR environment and is compatible with any standard CPR manikin, allowing for accurate monitoring of chest compressions and overall procedure execution.
2. Who Should Attend? This training is intended for:
Stadium security and event staff responsible for safety at sports venues
Athletes and sports professionals who may witness a cardiac emergency on the field
Coaches and youth sports club staff
First aid trainees looking to gain hands-on experience
Event industry professionals working in sports venues
Sports fans and stadium spectators who want to learn life-saving skills
Children and teenagers in schools to promote early first aid education
3. Training OutlinePart I: Introduction to VR (8 minutes)Learning how to use the VR training application, including navigation and interaction in a virtual environmentFamiliarization with hand tracking technology for natural, controller-free interaction
Part II: Hands-On Training (15 minutes)
Scenario-Based Training Following 2021 AHA GuidelinesScene Safety Assessment: Identifying potential risks to the rescuer and the victim, simulated hazardous situations (e.g., environmental dangers, fall risks)
Basic Life Support (BLS): Assessing the victim’s condition (consciousness, breathing), calling emergency services correctly, performing chest compressions with the correct frequency and depth
AED Operation: Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), troubleshooting common issues (e.g., water or metal interference)
Handover to Emergency Responders: Preparing the victim for transfer to paramedicsThe training is conducted in a VR environment, allowing participants to practice life-saving skills safely and realistically, following the latest AHA standards.
